00 PM and Shift 2 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The JEE Main 2025 April session is a crucial milestone in the engineering education journey of aspiring candidates. It is a gateway to admission in top engineering colleges and universities across India. The exam is designed to assess the candidate’s aptitude in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, which are the core subjects of engineering education.

  • The exam will be conducted in two shifts, with a total of 3 hours and 30 minutes for each shift.
  • The exam will be held in multiple-choice questions, with a total of 75 questions.
  • The exam will be conducted in English and Hindi languages.

    Exam Pattern and Format

    • The JEE Main 2025 April session will follow a similar exam pattern and format as previous years. The exam will consist of three papers: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2 (A), and Paper 3 (B).

    On the other hand, students who appeared for Shift 2 had a different experience.

    In the board exams, Chemistry had the highest number of questions, with most of them being multiple-choice. Physics and Mathematics had fewer questions, but with more complex and open-ended questions. The overall score of the board exams was based on a 10-point scale, with Chemistry scoring highest, followed by Physics and Mathematics. The top scorer was a girl who scored 90 out of 100, with a perfect score in both Chemistry and Mathematics.

    Physics was the most challenging in both shifts.
